Record Agent Trace

The RecordTrace.xlsm macro enabled Excel document export all trace reports for all agents in an Agents Group and save the individual files in a folder.

• Open the file and go to sheet1

• Complete the required fields

• Agent Group Name - A valid Agent Group in your CMS installation. The names on the report will be for the agents that logged in for the specified date.

• Date – can be -1 for yesterday, -2 for 2 days ago, etc… or an actual date (dd/mm/yy or mm/dd/yy). Typically CMS keeps trace reports for the last 7 days, if a date is chosen were CMS has no data then the trace reports will be blank.

• User Name – CMS user name

• Password – CMS password

• Server Name/IP – is your CMS address, can be a name or IP. Check with your IT department.

• Click Run Look in the directory where the RecordTrace.xlsm file is located and a new folder will be created with a name format mm_dd_yyyy.

Inside the folder the individual’s trace report will be saved with each file having the same name as the agent.

This application was tested with Avaya CMS Version 12 and Version 14. Other versions may require minor editing of the VBA code, Hit ALT F11 to edit the VBA code.

For example in version 16 you may need to unselect and reselect the Report Component reference in the VBA editor – it may show as missing initially. I think this may have something to do with changes in this dll in version 16.
