Windows 10 Firewall Blocking Remote Desktop RDP Inbound Connection

All of a sudden my remote desktop stopped working. I turn the Windows Defender Firewall off and I am able to connect but if I turn it back on my connections drops out. I made sure there were 2 rules for TCP and UPD for port 3389 allowed but they didn't seem to do anything.
To cut a long story short and after 2 days of trying all sorts of things what worked for me in the end was to click on Reset Firewall Rules and then re-adding the 2 rules to allow port 3389 in for TCP and UDP. It seems that somehow the rules were corrupted on some new rule was over riding the RDP rule. A clean reset and adding from scratch did the trick,
